April 28th-30th...Taylor soccer, more snow, bonfire in trampoline pit!

Taylor had a soccer game in Salem...they lost (the girls who are normally undefeated, are having a tough season this spring). Taylor was sick, of course, but always wants to play and does great! She made a free kick that was beautiful!

After trimming most the backyard plants, Bryan decided it would be easier to burn everything in the trampoline hole, rather than try to haul it off. There was a lot!!
...the neighbors weren't thrilled :)
snow in spring! Corndog didn't quite know what to do :)

Zacky loves that Corndog sleeps in his bed...he takes up the whole thing!
Bryan's new Durst office....he was fired from Ortho at the beginning of March. It went down a little nasty and has definitely been a transition for our family. Hopefully one day we'll look back at this picture and say this was the beginning of his very successful company :)

EASTER 2009

Zacky got his pink church shirt and tie (he still says pink is his favorite color...I think he's just trying to be silly!) Taylor got my gold CTR ring and shirt.
Ryan's birthday was on Easter this year, so we had a little party at his house. Zacky brough him a lego ship. Legos are still the crowd pleaser in this family!
The big boys hid the eggs this year...

Kelly made a gazillon eggs this year! Everyone painted!!
Taylor and Zacky trying to kill each other in soccer :)

Spring Break and Kimmy's paramedic graduation

We were supposed to do the church history trip for Spring Break, but with Bryan's lack of job, we cancelled. Instead we let the kids pick lots of little activities nearby. The boys spent one day finishing up the 'dork star'. They had a great time and are so proud of themselves. They then started making movies with the ship. They did a great job!
Not exactly the weather you would envision for Spring Break....but we still had fun! (my poor tulip tree was so confused...and Bryan took the tramp out for a couple of weeks to burn all of the cuttings from the yard!...it really turned out to be a better idea than hauling it off! We filled the pit up several times! It was a bear this year, but it now looks beautiful. Next year I'm hoping we have a job so that I can hire it out! :) It was insane!

We went sledding with the Phillippi's and Austin and Hudson. (This is THE Austin that Taylor 'doesn't' like :)
They had a blast and Corndog loved running up the hill and then tackling the kids on their way down!
The boys made snow caves too.
One of the days, the boys went fishing with Jeff (Zacky caught one!) and the girls picked Classic Skating! They had a ball!
Taylor had her first 'snowball' dance with a boy (much too old!) He came up to Taylor and Noelle and asked if either one would like to skate. Noelle quickly said 'Taylor would!' and off they went. Taylor was so mad (but I think alittle happy inside)! Noelle rip-sticked along with them the entire way and I don't think Taylor looked at the boy one time :) Kelly and I sat on the side and laughed and laughed and took lots of pictures, of course!
We celebrated Mom's birthday at Texas Roadhouse with just the girls! When we came out, this sweet ride was parked next to us :)
Black bottom cupcakes and a red fake-pod completed the evening :)
Zacky's still loving Corndog (not the best at remembering the chores associated ;) but still loving him!
Ryan through a rock at Zacky while they were playing the backyard and Zacky got a nice black eye. I think he thought it was cool! :) He thought he looked tough for Lauren!
A new baseball season has begun....we're now the Diamond Backs and Zacky plays short-stop, pitcher and catcher. He loves it! (just not the practices :) This year is SOOOO much longer and more boring with the kids pitching! Not sure the parents are going to make it through :)
Weren't we JUST here!! Kimmy graduated from paramedic school! Kelly and I barely made it in time...stupid 9 am! We just laughed at her pants the whole time. She's had a long year and now has a job with South Jordan fire dept! Go Kimmy!
We trying to get Kara to teach us this extrememly flattering pose :)
Which girl is the leisbian?? Kimmy doesn't find it funny :)

Conference Weekend

Zacky and Bryan now have Dan to play remote control cars with! Oh no! All they do is wreck the cars, then have Dan fix them!
Zacky loved having Dan show him how to jump his truck!
The kids and I went up to Tibble Fork to listen to one session of conference. It was a beautiful day. We sat and snuggled in the car together while we listened :)
Movie night at our house. We watched 7 pounds and as you can tell, Dan really enjoyed it :)
Isn't Bryan the best babysitter! Austin and Hudson came over for the evening (Taylor likes Austin, but won't admit it! ) After the dvd Bedtime Stories wouldn't work, the kids had a mario cart tournament after some crazy soccer games in the basment!
