Rylie is here and Zacky's flag football game

Rylie is here. Kelly and I stopped by to visit and ended up staying for the birth (in the waiting room :) because Jared left for lunch with kids and parents and almost didn't make it back in time. She took forever to get to a 5 and then within 10 minutes was ready. She is darling and has a triangle nose like Logan :)

After YW, the kids and I headed back to visit and take Becca treats. All Taylor wanted to do was hold the baby. She LOVES holding any babies and is so excited that we have a new one in the family.
Zacky is loving flag football :)-he's the farthest one to left
He's intercepting a pass :)
Conference weekend....Zacky wanted to put a tent up like King Benjamin. Daddy and Zacky went and got donuts and we had a nice morning listening and snuggling :) Bryan and I went for a walk down to moms to feed while Kara and mom were gone (on her cruise). As I watched Bryan feed and talk to the horses and sweep the barn, I decided we need a farm :) He's so zen around animals! Then it was off to soccer in Bountiful. Drove all the way up only to watch the game end in 8 minutes because the other coach screamed at and pushed the ref. game cancelled. so the girls scrimmaged each other and Bryan joined the game while all the parents laughed! Then we stopped at Pace's and then picked mom and grandma up from the airport.

Canyon fun

Dan and Kara moved in to moms so the mattress switch finally happened...Dan got our king and Zacky got Dan's queen. He is SOO excited! It's super soft so he is thrilled.
Colors are changing and Taylor didn't have a game on Friday, so I said it was canyon time! :) Taylor (and everyone else) tried to chop the big log. Daddy finally did it! and Austin almost killed himself trying ;)
Zacky was so excited to try fishing again. The last time he went up with Jeff, he was the only one that caught a fish. And he caught it with a pole he made. so he tried again this time. He found the perfect stick and smooth it out with the ax :)
He didn't catch anything this time, but loved his pole! (he added a weight to it this time...he was so proud!)
We had chili and roasted marshmellows. I even found Taylor some caramel swirl ones, but they were not a hit. (only person we were missing was mom...she's one a cruise with grandma and sisters :)
the kids always have fun with Kimmy and Kara's silly campfire games :) the joke was on zacky this time!
Zacky wanted to decorate daddy :)
This week Taylor's team played the team that beat them at the Murray cup but this time they won 3-1. Taylor hit a beautiful shot in on an indirect kick and played really well against a dirty team. This week mommy was almost the one that needed the time out chair! After watching such cheap shots handed out by this team, I almost lost in when Taylor got elbowed hard in the chest. Hate those kind of games, but the girls were so happy to win. That puts them in first so far :) We met everyone for JCWs after so that made it all better :)

soccer and zacky lost his bed ;)

we got to drive to Kaysville on Friday and Layton on Saturday!  We lost 2-3 on Friday mostly due to the fact that we only had one sub and a terrible ref. Half our team was hurt by the end. Taylor has a pretty black eye! She was so upset because she missed a free kick.  She is usually hits 90% of her free kicks, but missing this one made her feel like she lost the game.  Hormones are kicking in!  We went to JCW's after to ease the pain and while zacky and daddy played video games, she and I watched Dreamer :)Daddy got put in permanent sitting time out on Sat after helping Darren earn a yellow card on Friday.  Many dads were up in arms after some dangerous fouls were made against us.  Saturdays game was much happier...she made her penalty kick and assisted in 1 goal. We won 3-0.  She played great!  she dribbled past every defender and made lots of beautiful passes.  We celebrated at Olive garden w Tom and Melisa (baseball meeting too :)

Mommy got a new bed for her birthday (since I didn't spend much on my ring :) So we had a bit of a bed switch. I'm switching my old king bed with Kara and Dan...and Zacky is getting the queen bed.  He's been dying for a bigger bed!  I sold his bed on Friday so when he got home we all acted like nothing had happened.  He kept asking where his bed went and we all pretended like we had no idea what he was talking about.  He was laughing so hard he was crying :)  so funny.  He's very excited about his big bed.  Now we just have to wait for Kara and Dan to move out of Kimmy's house for the switch!
Halo came out this week so Zacky bought it and Daddy brought his xbox home.  They had a fun weekend together playing late into the night.
The kids also had fun going to the Dew Tour w grandma gayle.  That's been the tradition for the past couple of years and they love it.  They also come back w lots of bags t-shirts, and tatoos.  Zacky came home with a signature in permanent marker on his forehead!
Zacky had his first flag football game this week.  I had to take Taylor to ice skating but luckily grandma and kimmy were there to cheer him on.  He loves it and apparently made some great catches!

kids ref-ing soccer

Taylor taught Kimmy and Kara how to curl their hair with a flat iron :)  She is quite the master now!  She is miss style!
Taylor got to ref her first game.  The kids are loving the money and the power :) They are both doing great and are excited to get certified so they can make more money reffing AA.  Daddy won't leave the games, so we decided he should get certified too and they can all ref together :)

Daddy's always in the middle ;)

Vegas Baby!

Zacky and Hudson made volcanoes w baking soda and vinegar.  They are so cute together and are always coming up with creative fun! The other day they were trying to catch a bird with a rigged box hooked to string so they could trap it while standing behind the house.  They set  the tv and video camera up outside to watch from around the corner.  Funny boys!
For my bday, Bryan set up a day for me to go ring shopping (a 15 year anniversary gift too).  I, of course, had no desire to spend a fortune on a ring, and didn't really find anything that fit the bill.  When Tiff got wind of my surprise, she decided we HAD to go to Vegas to a jewelry pawn shop that she had heard about.  It turned into a 2 day girls trip :)  Poor Christie lucked out big time when we found one at the first stop!  She actually spotted it and turned out to be perfect and only $599.  Tiff was dying.  I bought her a ring too since she had found me such a great deal :)  It's a pink saphire in a halo pave setting that I'd been looking for.  So cute!
We had a blast at the Wynn buffet!  Laughed and laughed for 4 hours and watched Tiff LOAD her plate with crab legs and tell jello shot stories.  Fun night!

Next day we shopped and ate lunch at Serendipity.  Yummy frozen hot chocolate!  Such a fun trip!  Love these girls!
