Zackys 12th birthday!

After weeks of trying to decide on what kind of party he wanted (paint ball didn't work out), Zacky decided on an airsoft party. We ended up with the windiest day in the history of Utah mixed with cold weather. Luckily it still worked out ( and we risked it and did it at Heritage Park...even though there were still some crazy people on the trail even in that wind!). They had a blast. Luckily Bryan was here to run it while I stayed in the car and made food and glove runs :) There were only minor injuries but mostly smiles!

Whenever I have to practice the organ I take the boys over to shoot. The regular Bantam season is over now but he now plays in the March League on Mike Roth's team. (MAJOR drama with Melisa over this one-Stephs scheming, not mine!) It's actually turned out to be a great experience so far. Being the underdog on this team, Zacky rose to the occasion and did great in his first game! He outplayed their starting point guard.

After presents and pizza pie...most of them came over and played video games and basement bball for the rest of the night!

Taylor found him another sweater so now he doesn't have to wear the same one everyday! She's a good sister :) And all he asked for this year was a laptop...we ordered one for him that night and he was peeing! Funny kid. Can't believe he's 12! He had his priesthood interview the next morning and Bryan ordained him after church. He was sooo excited! He looked so handsome in his new tie and white shirt! We watched him graduate from Primary and walked him into Deacons. And the next week he got to pass the sacrament. He was so cute! Taylor said she was nervous for him...she was worried he was going to trip. :) But he did great and I couldn't have been prouder. I couldn't have asked for a more amazing son!

Valentines Day...the kids got their gifts after school... Zacky was so funny this year...last year I did presents before school and he thought I'd forgotten and that I wasn't going to give them anything this year. dork ;)
We had watched the new Jimmer video the night before and he was setting up his new workout and wanted a jump rope :)
Taylor got earrings and a gift card to go shopping-because she just doesn't have enough clothes ;)
Zacky still thinks my bed is his when Bryan is gone...I still love that he likes to snuggle...he's definitely changing and turning into a teenager, but he's still has his very sweet side. Now if I could get him to read a real book instead of Calvin and Hobbes! ;)

We lost and were out of the playoffs. They were bummed but had a great season!
Taylor's best day ever! She came home with a perma grin!!! Connor wrote her the sweetest card and got her Sees chocolate.
Zacky got honorable mention at the district science fair (with Lily ;) How he made it to district is beyond me. Although I did have an amazing idea ;) We credit Devin :)

This was Moms horse trailor....she and Kara drove the horses to Florida..Kara was NOT happy but they made it in record time! And the fence was actually done too :)

Zacky FINALLY got his spacer out!!! He thought it was supposed to come out 2 month ago so he has been dying to get it out! It looked so sore :(

Zacky made it to district with his science fair project :) Poor Devin had a moment when he couldn't get a hold of us in Florida and ended up retyping his info for the board. Zacky did a great job putting it all together without me. Somehow it all came together and he won. so funny.
