Taylor and I are the perfect team, she loves to find new poses and I love to shoot them! :)
Updates on Miss Pook....her knee is STILL bothering her. Since she can't play soccer, which is KILLING her, she and Tyler are coaching a U11 team in Alachua. They are so good with the kids! And it's funny to listen to them talk about the kids problems and game plans. Taylor gets so frustrated with Tyler for not being vocal enough at the games. Makes me laugh. He definitely got more vocal the other night when one of the boys sassed off to him :0
Taylor started physical therapy a couple weeks ago. I can tell that Murphy is getting worried that she's not bouncing back and has been very good to us. The bone isn't quite healed, but it's the bone bruise that's really bad and is causing her pain still. After 2 months, she still wears her brace a lot :/ The PT gave her the validation she needed (because the doctor isn't amazing at that and confuses her) and hope that she should be playing by summer. She still can't decide whether she'll be ready to go to BYU camp (and Mac tore her ACL, so that adds to the dilemma :/ ) But she says she's definitely going to OYA again because it was 'one of the best spiritual experiences of her life' She such a good kid, with a strong testimony and a bright example. It always such joy to hear teachers and friends and coaches talk about her! Everyone is drawn to her because she is so different and good. She has continued to amaze me with her strength and courage and goals. I tell her everynight that I definitely stood in the right line in the pre existence! :) Tyler has beyond impressed me with the changes he's made. He is strong. He wants to do better and is setting such a great example to all his friends. Hopefully it will catch on, because it's amazing how off track so many kids are here! We all have very candid conversations about all the 'issues' almost daily.
These two are so cute together and are such good kids! I'm lucky because, even though they are both 16, they still spend most of their time here with all of us together--which Zacky of course loves! (Tyler IS his brother!) Most times I have to tell them to go out! They freak out when Bryan and I leave and say aren't we all getting food and watching our shows together? So cute! And even though I have way too many lizards and dogs, and am asked to take lunch to the school almost daily , I am so grateful for all the time I get to spend with all 3 kids! And with our constant weekend soccer trips, we have been able to spend ALOT of good, fun, crazy time together! Love my life
