Zacky's middle school soccer tourney-1st game we won 2-1....zacky had both goals- then on to baseball tourney

His first goal frame by frame.....

Taylor heard Gizmo, the HS coach,  yelling at his team, "why are you letting one player take our whole team!"  She was proud and after the game gave him a big hug :)  They are so cute!

I love this shot because you can see Taylor and all her soccer friends watching Zacky.  They love him and he LOVES to play with the seniors! He's excited because Tyler always bragged that he was the first freshman to play varsity soccer, but HS coach has already told Taylor and Tyler that he will be playing varsity next year.  He was throwing it in Tyler's face ;)  He should be much more scared of these older boys than he is!  He's always telling the older boys to get off drugs and making up songs that say how ridiculous they are for smoking!  He has no fear!! Funny kid! He's amazing! He also told Libby and Grace and Vivy to put on Taylors soccer pants when they came over because they were wearing booty shorts. He is something :) I've had several parents come up and tell me that story and how awesome it is that he sets that standard.  The girls all tell him that they really like him and Seth and Alec because they are so different from all the other boys-don't swear, drugs, crude, porn....I couldn't be more proud!!  He has already made such an impact here and I see kids changing for the better because of Taylor and Zacky's strong example and light! And the coaches all love them because they are respectful and hard working.  I LOVE these kids!

2nd goal......

so cute watching these boys play together and support each other :)

Even though they were expected to lose, Mebane beat High Springs 2-1 with Zacky scoring both of our goals.  He played his heart out (could it be by chance because Libby was there...or maybe his new cleats ;)

Then it was straight over to the 1st game of the Middle School tourney.  Zacky hit one to the fence (and these are the looonngg fences!).  He's been killing it at bat lately!  He has the highest average on the team-.700.  And he still says he's over baseball right now.  He's so happy for the season to be over.  I never thought I'd see the day that he'd want to play soccer more than other sport!  Dang Tyler ;)
