Star Wars by the pool

Zacky and Derek are SO funny...they love to dress up like Luke and Darth and run all around the yard with their light sabers! Cracks me up!

Kimmy graduates from the Fire Academy! May 2008

All the kids had a blast at Kimmy's graduation! They got to climb on the fire engines and Zacky showed us how to do pull-ups! Taylor and Noelle even dressed their bunnies up as fire fighters to celebrate!

Kimmy teaches fire safety at bunny school

Taylor and Noelle invited Kimmy to come teach fire safety at Bunny School (bunny school just continues to expand...all they do is move stuff around and add more and more stuff!...it's very cute and creative!) It was a hilarious class! (kimmy liked the name tag)

Moms Birthday

We went to Goodwood and got in trouble for being late...then Kimmy and Kara got in BIG trouble for running across the road to get bread for the meal :)

the girls love playing dominoes with grandma!

hair cuts

Taylor and Noelle still pretend to be mary-kate and ashley olsen (except they say they're Kimberly and Kara Olsin) sometimes and like to look a like. They got matching haircuts and look adorable :) I love that they have each other for 'sisters'! Noelle is still Taylor's first pick!

Park boo boo

We finally had a nice day...went to the park and then accident-prone Taylor WACKED and ripped her shin open on a pole while sliding down...5 months later she still has a bump! The poor thing is just a magnet for injury!

Bryan and I went on a Cancun trip in April

We ate at a tiny cafe in the middle of nowhere while we waited for the Chitzen Itza light show (which never happened becuase there was a HUGE rainstorm!) It was actually very yummy.
We visited Xcaret...we swam through a freezing underground river, snorkeled, watched a few shows and wondered why this place was such a popular attraction??
Thanks to the help of lots of grandmas and aunts, Bryan and I were able to take a 10 day Cancun trip!
Taylor is NOT happy when Mommy leaves...this trip was sad too because we could only email back home...she had fun with the grandmas, though, and made us this sign when we got back :)
Mexico was an interesting experience...a little scary sometimes....that is a police truck in front of us with cops riding in the back holding large guns!
We frequented Chocolate City...yummy chocolate pizzas!
We ferried over to Isla Mujeres and rented a golf cart to tour around the tiny island...Bryan loved the cart!
We visited a local mexican restaurant near the end of the trip...I'm pretty sure this where I got sick...NOT a fun plane ride home!
On our last day we woke up and saw battleships patroling the front of our the Hilton...there was some world convention...we were happy to be leaving!
the view from our room...it was beautiful!
the market place in Chitzen Itza....this whole city was amazing...best part of the trip...minus the death rain storm, 4 1/2 hour drive back in our tiny rental.
This is where they played ball games...really cool
Bryan got some R&R
Bryan loved all of these little stores (big hug, little kiss, big kiss, little hug????)
Chitzen Itza temple...unbelievable
A spectacular beach on Isla Mujeres...we didn't get much time to enjoy it, but it was beautiful!

We rode horses on the beach and in the water...it was so fun!

soccer taylor

Taylor plays fall/spring competitive soccer and LOOOVES it (still says it's her favorite out of everything)! She's on the pink pyranahs. They look so girly but play really tough. They only lost 2 games in the season and taylor was the highest goal scorer. She loves playing forward and shooting corner and free kicks (daddy has taught her well!) The last game of the season was a tough team. Taylor got sick a few days before and had been throwing up. She really wanted to go help her team. I let her pick, so she went. She threw up 2 times that day and still managed to play really well. They did lose though, and she was sad because she knew she if she hadn't been sick she could have maybe helped them win. She's a fighter!

lego crazy

Zacky still LOVES legos...he ordered a $100 ship with his own money and was jumping up and down when it came! He's amazing putting them together!
