Sick Week...and 'Sick' Half-Pipe!

We've had a rough week...the kids missed a FULL week of school...yucky tummies, head colds, dizziness...it was a LONG week....Luckily Grandma Drexie sent some chocolate syrup...Zacky said that's what really made him feel better! He knows how to milk it!

Then Taylor finally forced me to take Oreo to the vet because she keeps limping around...but of course on the day of the appointment, she didn't limp so we get to go back! But I did come home with a $770 estimate! Love this cat!
Kimmy had a biking accident...dog ran out in front of her while she followed Devin on a run. She can't raise her left eyebrow now :( She has had quite a year of facial accidents! At least this time she went to a doctor instead of gluing it back together like her chin!
The kids did recuperate in time for Saturday soccer! Zacky's team lost their first game. But Kelly brought her camera, so we got lots of fun pictures!
Zacky is a great goalie! He actually saved this one!

He did great in this game and made a couple of great goals and passes!

just liked this picture because of how the ball turned out in it (he's kicking one of his amazing corner kicks)
So after Kimmy and Kara took the big kids to the Dew Tour, Zacky hasn't put down his skateboard. On one of his sick days we searched for half-pipes. After some serious research and MAJOR begging and promises from Zacky (including that he had to pay the $125 half of it) we drove a 4 hour round trip to Eden to pick up these ramps. Don't know how we loaded them, or how we're going to get them in the basement, but you can't wipe the smile off of Zacky's face!

Taylor did great at her soccer game...and made some beautiful goals (she really can shoot so consistently high and cornered!)...her team won :)
Bryan at soccer practice...he's a great coach!
I think Bryan like the ramps as much as Zacky! He started off in shorts, and after several rough falls, walked out like this....those are towels shoved in his pants! He did do it, though! Of course now he wants his own skateboard!
Zacky took some tough falls (and quickly learned that mommy was right about the knee, elbow and wrist guards! But he's got it now!
Heaven IS a half-pipe!
