For Bryan's birthday I made plans to take him snowmobiling in Daniels Summit near Heber. I rented 2, but luckily Bryan talked me in to sharing one...I never would have made it! It was a beautiful place and day, but Freezing!! As we took off, the guy told us not to go off the trail and Bryan said don't worry, I'm conservative. Yeah right! Within 5 minutes up the loop, he had us completely stuck. After trying to dig out for a while and then finally flagging someone down to help, we finally got unstuck! It took 30 minutes and I actually thought I might freeze to death. So we get going on the trail, realizing we've got to get moving because the trail took 2 hours and it would be dark near that time. We took off and about 5 minutes later Bryan stops and starts looking for the car key. Truly divine intervention! We would have been so busted had he not stopped to check for the key. Realized it had fallen out at some point so we turned around. He started looking around where we had been stuck. I'm watching him dig and thinking there is no way we are finding that key. The snow was literally 10 feet deep where we had been. About 10 minutes later I see him jumping up and down with the key in his hand! He said he finally said a prayer, scooped his hand down in the snow and picked it up! I was so grateful because our fun little birthday trip could have gone so bad! We jumped back on and froze our way over the rest of the trail :) It was stunningly gorgeous, but we were so cold from all the digging, that all we were worried about was making it back! And we learned after driving those crazy machines that we have no interest in getting our own :) We went to Brick Oven afterwards for dinner (still his favorite). Definitely a birthday memory!

Snot was just pouring down my face, so this was how I rode. Sexy!

The top of the summit!

The kids made birthday cake :) Taylor still makes the best cake!

And then Daddy's favorite...homemade pizza!
