Beginning of summer...games, Kara's engaged! and more

Kara and Dan are engaged! He surprised her up on a hike and brilliantly surprised her with the ring she wanted (not the one she thought he liked :) August 14th!
A dirty truck and a ring...what more could she want!
A cute parent from our team did pictures for us after the last season game.
He was mad because he was the only kid that smiled in his individuals :) cute kid!
The kids had a swim day in the rain. You'd think we lived in Seattle again! It's been raining almost every afternoon for the past 2 weeks! Although, I am enjoying not having the usual boiling lava hot June days!
The skies have been beautiful!
Taylor bought the 2 piece she's been dying for. It's plenty long for her torso and she couldn't be happier! Not thrilled about supporting that shop :) but she's so happy!
love those cute kids!
daddy helping zacky gear up to play catcher...could just eat him up in that gear...he's so adorable!
And he's actually a great catcher! Alec always asks him to catch for him because he's the only one that can catch his wild stuff! And he uses grandpa ashby's mit :)
Daddy hasn't been able to be at many games this season because of his job hunting, but when he's here Tom loves him on 1st because he sends them!
We actually sold the ramps! I couldn't be happier to have my garage back! And, surprisingly, Zacky didn't seem to care. I really thought he'd use them more...I'm a sucker! Mom helped me drive them to Odgen and we weren't even killed! :)
We met up with dan, kara and kimmy to see Up in 3D. Such a cute movie!
Kara and Dan came over to show us the ring! The kids are thrilled to have Dan as an uncle. Love him! And their going to be living in our basement (I need a pool boy/ yard boy since my husband will be gone!). The kids are smiling!
Mom brought the mashed potatoes for the celebration ;)
Look at all those cute men snuggling together watching the basketballs semis....we had game night at our house, and this is how it started :)
The kids camped with Daddy at Kelly's house one night, but Zacky still wanted to put a tent up. It keeps raining, so we put the small one in the family room :) It's now ended up in my room since Daddy left for San Francisco (we are very sad, but grateful to have a job :) and Zacky sleeps in it most nights!
Zacky got to go dress hunting with the girls while Taylor was at Seven Peaks with Danielle (a mix up that will never happen again...I had my first big 'choose good friends/texting' talk with Taylor).
she was planning on wearing Kimmy's dress, but wanted to still be able tohave the wedding dress shopping experience...bad news, she found one :) it has everything she wanted...so she bought it. Still can't believe my baby sister is getting married!
Zacky made the AF Allstar Team B for the 9-10 year olds. This was the first game up in West Valley. All the other coaches were completely decked out...I told Tommy that's why we didn't win. It was a sad game. Zacky struck out twice and didn't even get to touch the ball in the field. He was very frustrated/sad. He seems to be having a bit of a mental block with hitting this year? We stopped and got a 'green burrito' at Arby's (most hilarious drive through experience of my life :) Sad night, my heart hurt for him :(
He was NOT happy!
The next game was in Herriman and he had a great game! Can you tell from the picture that we won! We were down 7-1 going into the 5th inning. We ended up winning 9-8. It was crazy! Zacky hit an amazing shot to left field with the bases loaded. It was great! And he had a couple of good outs in the field. A much more fun game :)
I would much rather see him happy :) He was smiling so big when he got the hit and jumping up and down on the base. So cute! I've decided baseball is too stressful for me :) And, of course, he's still begging me to play football (and after loving the movie Forever Strong, Rugby...okay, I'll go with baseball :)
It turned out to be a fun game and a beautiful evening on a gorgeous field! We celebrated at Iceberg afterwards. Crazy boys!
On Saturday, we were supposed to have our final allstar game in West Valley again, but it got rained out...I missed the cancellation call, so was already 45 minutes into the drive! Not happy. The kids decided we should go to WT Chuck-a-rama :) Zacky's been dying to go ever since Hudson's party. You would have sworn we were a Disney Land. They were SO happy! It was cute. Then we had a rainy movie night and then got lots of our summer book read. :) Fun night together :) Wishing Daddy was here!
Zacky got sick, surprise, surprise! They spent too much time at the dessert bar :)
The night we did these pictures was spectacular. It had rained most of the day, but by the end of the game, there was this fabulous rainbow! Go diamond backs!
