It's Spring Break! After school on Friday, I took the kids rollerblading.... they had a blast except when 'snowball' was called and they all RAN off the rink ;)
Taylor won the girls skate race :) Austin won the boys, then they combined and Austin won it all!
We had planned a full array of fun outdoor Spring Break activities but the weather continued to be gross. On Friday, I said, if it rains or snows one more day, we are heading south! Well, it continued to be yucky so Tiff invited us down to Vegas....we stayed at her brothers and took her boys and my 2. They had a blast! The trip started with Truman car sick...he continued to be the drama of the trip. Other than the air mattresses, Zacky snoring the first night (he got a sinus infection before we left and even missed his bball party. poor guy :( his antibiotics kicked in quick but the first night he was still all stuffy) and eating till we were literally sick, it was an easy party!
We were crammed in, but they did great!
We stopped in St George for lunch at Panda (not a good way to start for me!) and Tiffany was dancing and playing with another guy and almost crashed into this poor old man. We were cracking up!
Made it to the casita, but soon realized that the pool was freezing (and had the biggest pain in the booty cover ever!). They played in it one time :) Luckily there was a bball hoop to entertain them too!
We went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner...the kids entertained themselves while we walked through the Forum mall :)
Right after this shot, the kids got busted by a guard for climbing on the wall :) hee hee....we ate ourselves sick at Cheesecake (red velvet cake...yum!!!)
Breakfast was at the gas station on the way down to the strip. Candy bars and chocolate milk. They were thrilled!

We walked for a few hours and explored different hotels and gardens... the had fun but were worn out :)
the hated the smoky casinos!! We were quite the spectacle!
And the ducks ended up being one of the biggest treats! Figures ;)
When they got hot, the dipped their heads in the fountains and made nasty water mohawks :)
We waited for the Bellagio fountains (later when we got home, we watched Oceans 11 with Daddy...they thought it was cool that they knew all the places :) The kids were not nearly as impressed with the fountains as I thought they'd be. surprise
We will not talk about what Truman and Hudson did!

Zacky was so cute and walked me over the bridge (he said that's what Daddy would have done. he is the cutest kid! such a gentleman! :)
We made it to the Wynn buffet. The ultimate goal :) They had a blast...mostly watching the Earls eat crab! Taylor and Zacky were mostly consumed with the amazing chocolate milk and shirley temples. I mentioned that we will not be going to vegas buffets anymore!

The Lion exhibit was soooo cute. they were having play time and it was adorable!
They all wanted to go to the M&M store...and we had quite the party. Zacky and Hudson danced for everyone and they all got matching shirts!
Hudson had a minor break down because there wasn't an orange M&M statue...hilarious! But we spent an hour in there making scenes everywhere! I

The air mattresses entertained the kids for hours!!!
We finally found a pool that we could go to for under $20 a kid! We ended at the wave pool and lazy river at Monte Carlo. They had a blast considering that it was a super windy day! Taylor didn't end up on the Stratusphere rides because they were closed due to the wind! She was bummed, but Daddy was happy. He was nervous about her on those!

We had frozen hot chocolates at Serendipity. Yum!
And the kids (mostly Austin) HAD to ride up the Coke elevator :)
And while we were waiting for Tiff to pick us up, the kids finally got their chance to run the wrong way on the escalator (but did still get yelled at :) We then spent an hour trying to find the dumb theaters in Green Valley. Finally found them and watched HOP. Worst movie ever! Then home for our final night of Casita fun. We watched Hitched and ate cookie and ice cream. Got up, cleaned the casita and drove to St George for Bear Paw Cafe (but they didn't have any famous hot chocolate left!). Taylor and I were happy with our Brownie Waffle :) Could we be more sick! We made it home just in time to pick Daddy up from the airport! Fun week! Tired, sick and happy :)
We played family soccer on Friday...even Nancy and kids came up. Fun day, then off to Pizza Pie and movie time. Fun family weekend. We miss Daddy and try to live up each weekend we have!
The kids finally got to open up their bank accounts. Taylor, with a huge smile, got her debit card but because he's only 11, had to settle for an ATM card. He here is using it for the first time. He is SOOO happy!
We had a family walk around the new lake and Zacky was sulking because the kids were fighting over fishy cookies from Pizza Pie so I threw them in the lake :) So after, we went to the grocery store for treats and Daddy LOADED the cart with fishy cookies! They love Daddy!
