We took Kelly on a shopping day and Hagermans lunch for her birthday! Kara missed it because she ended up going to Scottsdale with Dan for training. We laughed and bonded :) It was a purse birthday! Luckily Bryan was home to take care of sick Zacky. He spent the whole day job hunting and ended up with 4 interviews on Saturday. We have our fingers crossed. We're just happy he's coming home and he could not be more relieved! We had a fun Friday night at the Earls theatre and Dallas made us pie. And Sat, Bryan and I went on a date and then he got all the window shades up. Yeah, we can see in the kitchen now! :) Then I made his favorite on sun..crepes! fun weekend
had to take the towering shoe pic for the year ;) We laughed our way through tjmax for about 3 hours! And I almost lost my sweater :)
Zacky got sick on Thursday night and missed school Friday. I went to parent teacher conferece and learned that Zacky is still winning them over! I asked him how he does it and he just smiled :) His progress report says perfect kid. perfect student. And the student teacher wrote that he was her favorite. I asked her how much he paid her off with. ;) He scored above avg in reading and above in math. And then the teacher showed me a math test he gave everyone to see where they were at...he said zachary got an extra problem right that he put on just to see what the kids could do with it. He didn't think any of the kids could figure it out, but Zacky did. he's the man! ... and boy does he know how to milk the sickness train ;)***he had the cutest moment this week... he and hudson wanted to go get more popscicle sticks to play with, so we ran to the store grabbed those and milk and eggs and fruit. When we got up to pay, Zacky had brought his wallet and insisted on paying for everything because Daddy had lost his job. He said we always take care of him, so he wanted to take care of us! Such a sweetheart. And I told Taylor I was so proud of her too because we just decided the day before to go on a little fun mommy/daughter trip to Palm Springs to buy a car and do some shopping and bonding and just play together. When she found out about the lay off, she said, I guess we can't go now. But with no attitude or whining, just reality. They both quickly said, it's time to be careful again. But with a smile. I'm so proud of them!
before Taylor's soccer game, I found them watching tv like this :)she had her tough game on Saturday against the Lightning who beat them when we played them a couple weeks ago without subs. She played so aggressive. She even got 2 fouls. Bryan was so proud of her :) She made so many great passes and her corners were perfect! 2-0 She was so excited to beat this team!
this is when she, at 7, beat out all the 14 year olds. she was so proud! good Beethoven

Conference weekend....Zacky wanted to put a tent up like King Benjamin. Daddy and Zacky went and got donuts and we had a nice morning listening and snuggling :) Bryan and I went for a walk down to moms to feed while Kara and mom were gone (on her cruise). As I watched Bryan feed and talk to the horses and sweep the barn, I decided we need a farm :) He's so zen around animals! Then it was off to soccer in Bountiful. Drove all the way up only to watch the game end in 8 minutes because the other coach screamed at and pushed the ref. game cancelled. so the girls scrimmaged each other and Bryan joined the game while all the parents laughed! Then we stopped at Pace's and then picked mom and grandma up from the airport.

we got to drive to Kaysville on Friday and Layton on Saturday! We lost 2-3 on Friday mostly due to the fact that we only had one sub and a terrible ref. Half our team was hurt by the end. Taylor has a pretty black eye! She was so upset because she missed a free kick. She is usually hits 90% of her free kicks, but missing this one made her feel like she lost the game. Hormones are kicking in! We went to JCW's after to ease the pain and while zacky and daddy played video games, she and I watched Dreamer :)Daddy got put in permanent sitting time out on Sat after helping Darren earn a yellow card on Friday. Many dads were up in arms after some dangerous fouls were made against us. Saturdays game was much happier...she made her penalty kick and assisted in 1 goal. We won 3-0. She played great! she dribbled past every defender and made lots of beautiful passes. We celebrated at Olive garden w Tom and Melisa (baseball meeting too :)

Mommy got a new bed for her birthday (since I didn't spend much on my ring :) So we had a bit of a bed switch. I'm switching my old king bed with Kara and Dan...and Zacky is getting the queen bed. He's been dying for a bigger bed! I sold his bed on Friday so when he got home we all acted like nothing had happened. He kept asking where his bed went and we all pretended like we had no idea what he was talking about. He was laughing so hard he was crying :) so funny. He's very excited about his big bed. Now we just have to wait for Kara and Dan to move out of Kimmy's house for the switch!
Taylor taught Kimmy and Kara how to curl their hair with a flat iron :) She is quite the master now! She is miss style!
Taylor got to ref her first game. The kids are loving the money and the power :) They are both doing great and are excited to get certified so they can make more money reffing AA. Daddy won't leave the games, so we decided he should get certified too and they can all ref together :)

Zacky and Hudson made volcanoes w baking soda and vinegar. They are so cute together and are always coming up with creative fun! The other day they were trying to catch a bird with a rigged box hooked to string so they could trap it while standing behind the house. They set the tv and video camera up outside to watch from around the corner. Funny boys!
For my bday, Bryan set up a day for me to go ring shopping (a 15 year anniversary gift too). I, of course, had no desire to spend a fortune on a ring, and didn't really find anything that fit the bill. When Tiff got wind of my surprise, she decided we HAD to go to Vegas to a jewelry pawn shop that she had heard about. It turned into a 2 day girls trip :) Poor Christie lucked out big time when we found one at the first stop! She actually spotted it and turned out to be perfect and only $599. Tiff was dying. I bought her a ring too since she had found me such a great deal :) It's a pink saphire in a halo pave setting that I'd been looking for. So cute!
We had a blast at the Wynn buffet! Laughed and laughed for 4 hours and watched Tiff LOAD her plate with crab legs and tell jello shot stories. Fun night!
