Taylor last soccer game-Division 2 Champs!

The Norther Peaks had their final game...they won 6-2 which put them first place in Div 2. They are so excited to move up to Div 1 next season! The great part was we played the team that beat us in the Championship in our St George Thanksgiving tournament...that was the game that Taylor lost her confidence when she missed a penalty kick. Well, no problem this game. She scored 5 of the goals and made every penalty and free kick she took (she made 2 crazy ones from far out-perfect shots!) and she assisted the 6th point. She felt totally confident because this is the field that she works with Emil on. Money well spent ;) She was so excited and the team was screaming! So fun! (love this picture...Taylor was comforting Mac when Mac wasn't so excited about having to play goalie both halves. She's such a good friend :)




Grandma and Kara came to watch...and Zacky showed Austin and Hudson the palm tricks that Dan taught him up in the canyon the night before (we had a gorgeous night in AF canyon, roasting marshmellows and chatting :)
...one of her penalties..the goalie was tough (and intimidating) but she made it past her everytime!

We had our end of season party and luckily the weather cooperated (not the hot tub so much-I had to beg Trevor to come out and fix it for the 5th time!). It had been gross and windy all day, but happily it settled down for our pizza and pool fun. The girls had a blast together! ....Zacky was happy too because Lily came over (he did his pushups before ;) He sat and flirted with her all night! He was even telling her he was going to pummel some kid that she said was cute..it already begins ;) Those 2 kids get teased so much by all the older girls. Bailey calls Taylor her sister in law! Zacky mentioned after the party that he does NOT like the teasing....although he is perfectly fine teasing Taylor about Austin!

end of school!

Taylor invited her good friends over for swimming and fun after school on Friday. They sat around showing me all the cute boys in their yearbooks (last day was yearbook signing and then home by 11). They swam, went up and played soccer at the park, bonded and then we went to Orange Leaf (they were just mad because we had to end at 10 because there was a soccer game at 8 the next morning! bummer!). The girls were ticked at the boys because Austin brought Keaton and Chandler (who now all have a crush on Taylor and no longer can just hang out and talk, they have to run around showing off instead ;) because all they did was eat pizza and then run the opposite direction from them. Luckily they have Brendan Bailey to swoon over. I had to admit, he is cute :)

Zacky and his 'yearbook'. And, yes, this is actually what he wore his last day of school ;p No idea! He decided to skip the last day because he would rather sleep in then play Wii for an hour! Funny kid :)
Orange Leaf....

We played at 8 am and the girls were so tired after their busy last week of school. Both teams were out to win...if they other team won, they took 1st and if we won, we had a chance to take 1st and move up. This team was in 2nd and after a very tough game, we won 4-2. Taylor scored all 4! She had 2 penalties, 1 free kick and 1 goal. She has been struggling mentally with her penalties but she seems to have moved past! yay! It was such a great game. The other team was crushed (but we couldn't have been happier after all the pushing and cheating (sent girls over to listen at half time))

After the game, we went to Kneaders for a celebration breakfast. Lily wore her lucky shirt ;)

Then it was off to Zacky's double header in Spanish Fork. (Taylor lucked out and got a call from Becca to babysit for the afternoon). We won 1 and lost the other. Zacky got a double, so he was excited! It was finally nice weather, so we sat under a tree and enjoyed the day! (i even ran in to Shauntel Karren :) By the end of the last game, we were killing them, so Tom moved everyone around...Zacky got to play first, so he was so happy!
It's officially summer....boys are out in their jerseys :) There was no game on tonight so the boys played instead!
