NERD DAY at school

The kids wore Daddy's ties and old glasses for nerd day....they thought it was so funny :) Although, once we arrived at school and they didn't see many others dressed up, they slowly slipped off the glasses!

Kelly's birthday

The New Olive Garden opened up in AF so of course that's where Kelly picked for her birthday. We happened to get the SLOWEST servers on the planet and ended up being there for 2 hours! Didn't help our contest at all, but yummy :) Mini food fights did finally surface and Kimmy soaked me! mom loves dinner with us :)

Grandma Drexie sent a fun treat!

There's nothing the kids love more then getting a package in the mail. Grandma Drexie sent a 'skater' shirt for Zacky that I can't get off his body! and a soccer necklace for Taylor that she loves! thank you mop-mop!

Happy Parent/Teacher conferences!

Taylor is a very hard worker at school and very concerned about getting A's. She took a hard math test and was one of 2 kids in the class to get an A. She was very excited! (Although a little disappointed that she didn't get 100% after she thought her teacher gave her a wink and said only one student got 100%). Her special treat was 2 new Goosebumps books that she'd been wanting. She is obsessed with Goosebumps right now...can't get read enough of them! We also got to go celebrate after parent teacher conferences (we saw Kung Fu Panda and got special candy!) because both kids got raving reviews! With Taylor I was not surprised, but with Zacky I sometimes wonder :) (after some of his Seth and Alec issues). But his teacher actually said he was her favorite and that he's respectful, helpful (she has him 'take care of' new students) and very smart ("math whiz"). When I came home, I acted like I was disappointed to fake them out a little, and Zacky said "oh great, what did I do? :) I told them I was the proudest parent in the world :)

Conference Weekend

The kids built a fort during General Conference to be like King Benjamin's people :) Zacky and Daddy even slept in it...they added many more blankets. Then we had a pizza party after the boys went up to move some stuff out of mom's eagle mountain house...it finally sold!!
