What a weekend of everything!

the science fair! Taylor did "is yawning contagious?" she brought a funny video of Noelle fake yawning :) Austin won best in show!
I had to bring Taylor a rootbeer when I came to check out the fair because her throat was hurting so bad! We had about 5 months of no sickness and then Taylor, Zacky and Daddy all got sore throats and coughs for about 2 weeks!
after the fair, Bryan and I stopped to say hi to Zacky...I had to get a picture of Lauren :) Look at his face looking at her!

This Saturday was CRAZY. We had an early bball game against Rich's team. Melisa was freaking :) We ended up winning by one point! It was so fun! Zacky scored half our points! After we all went to Denny's (gross-thanks Cyd) for breakfast. That started our day.
Melisa was so happy that Bryan was in town to coach :) He makes our defense so much better!
We went home and the grieve's came over to practice batting then we were off to soccer. We played against an older girls team that was ridiculous. They played the 'I'm a girl so you can't foul me, but I can crash you into walls!' Their parents were out of control to and it was the first time I've ever seen Cyd come seriously unglued! entertaining! We won by 4 but our boys were so mad!
Then we all went to Pizza factory. Taylor and Austiin sat with Haley :)
Bryan yelled a lot at the soccer game so Zacky was really mad at him!

dad came to visit

Taylor got glasses! She can't read the board at school , but was very nervous to tell me because of the famous lying incident when she was 7 :) She promised up and down that she really couldn't see! so funny! she's happy because they're pink and brown and mostly because she can actually see now :)
dad came to visit...we spent most the week eating, dealing with the internet and shining up the slate :) but we did put him to work with Zacky, Seth and Alec. He really helped them with their batting but it was an interesting night approaching the coaches with it...we're expecting our 'leave the team' email this week :)...the baseball drama goes on :)...
not quite allowed...but the whole family invaded Ultimate Sports...everyone had lots of fun!!

Zacky loves flying his plane... it would help if we weren't constantly having issues with the battery!
Zacky used his money to buy aviators like Austin...wow, it's a look. We were walking in a store and I said, 'I don't think you need your glasses on in the dark." and he said, ' ahhh, mom, I didn't buy them for the light!' he bought them for the coolness ;) He wears them out to recess to impress Lauren...not sure if it's working ;)
I set up family Laser Tag for Bryan's birthday...he made me play too! It was quite the night!


At the very end, Bryan jumped off a huge rock wall and busted his ankle...considering he's running a half marathon the next weekend, not such a bright idea! And Devin was mad, of course, because he thought Bryan was cheating :) wow

NEW YEARS EVE 2009

zacky likes to draw on his i touch...first i thought it was him with daddy and taylor, but he corrected me...it him with Lauren and Addy :) He's very sad because Lauren is moving...and I'm super sad!! So he asked me the other day if he should like Addy again since Lauren will be gone. he's the lunch stud...he and Hudson sit with the 2 cute girls. He told me that he did the shoulder move with her and told her that she started global warming. he is too funny!

CHRISTMAS 2009

Christmas morning....In his stocking, Zacky got the voice changer he begged for and we had the pleasure of listening to it ALL day!

Yeah! Beef jerky :)
Taylor got a hairdryer, fuzzy socks, earrings and her own shade shirt (so she doesn't have to steal mine anymore!)
the kids RAN down to see what Santa brought :)
Taylor got her pink ipod (since I washed her last one!) I wrapped it in the hairdryer box and then in a robe so she was confused ;) and a new hoodie of course!
Zacky was the fun surprise of the day...he's been begging for an i touch for a year since 'EVERYONE else has one but him!' :) I told him 'no' because I didn't want him to have unmonitored internet access, so he stopped asking and had no idea I finally learned you could completely lock out internet so I decided to get it....He had wanted to buy a fake i touch with his own money a couple of months ago, but we told him to wait till Christmas and that his gift was better than an i touch. he fretted for weeks, worried that he should have just bought the other game. I wrapped the i touch in a camera box and he was very gracious and acted very happy :) (and considering that the minute before, Noelle opened her i touch and Zacky said, ' now EVERYONE has one!'...torture.... so I was extra proud of him :) When he opened the box to find the i touch, he screamed. He is SO happy! fun morning!
Taylor bought Kara a snuggie with her own money :) since Kara made fun of her when she thought Taylor had a snuggie on the other night!~ we ended up at shopping on Christmas Eve (first time ever!) because Taylor insisted we take a few names off the giving tree at Olive Garden the night before (at our indoor soccer game celebration). She was so cute...she saw the tree and was so sad that there were so many names left on it. We were past the time, but she made me ask the manager if we could still bring gifts....he said yes and she went to work. When we got to the check stand and I started to pay, she thanked me because she thought she was going to pay for all of it...I was so proud of her for doing all that shopping and fully planning on using a lot of her money to pay. She's such a good girl :)
Taylor got Noelle oobie slippers...we laughed and laughed at how skinny her legs looked with those huge shoes on! And Noelle got Taylor the snow boarding hat she'd been looking for. She and I went shopping all day on the 23rd-so fun- to use her Christmas money, and one thing she was looking for was a hat. We literally looked everywhere and couldn't find one! She was so excited that Noelle found one for her!
Haley sent a hoodie...Taylor's favorite things on the planet!
Zacky finally got his Godzilla :)
We got mom her barn window picture frame...and she cried...always a good sign :) The boys were freaking out that we actually spent money on an old window ;)
Rudolph came and ate the apple Zacky left :)
Taylor gave Zacky a shirt that he had wanted...
and I actually surprised Bryan with an xbox....that rarely happens :) it's for SF, NOT here!
and I got Taylor a huge softie blanket :)
after presents and french toast...we headed to Kimmy's fire station to help get her through the day...she had to sub in at the old station she hates, so she was sad :( She showed us the ambulance she works in....
the boys were extremely impressed ;).....
then we hung out...the kids watched a Christmas movie...

taylor did 70 lifts!next....we stopped at Panda on the way home...could not believe we were eating at Panda on Christmas!!! that's a new one!
after naps....we went to the church to fly Zacky's plane...lucky we have Dan for such events :) someone came to play volleyball within 10 minutes of arriving so we went outside for a a bit...it was freezing, so we went home, ate more cookies, and watched movies! what a day!!!
