Zacky is borrowing Jeff's teletubby costume this year. He thinks it's hilarious! Taylor flipped out because it scares Oreo :) He even wore it while practicing!

Zacky shows off our garden honeydews (we didn't get much this year...only 1 pumpkin wasn't eaten by the deer)

cool!

We planned on doing Powell for Fall Break, but it was supposed to be a little chilly so we went back to Moab. On our drive there, we were interrupted by a cattle drive :)

Our family and grandma and the girls shared a big room...party party:) The first day we had to rip Kimmy and Kara off the bed and onto the trails!

We went to Landscape Arch for an easy hike.

We played the find a rock that looks like something game...butts were a popular rock (here's zacky showing his butt and a rock butt he found :) so were lips, potatos, cupcakes and Noelle's bananas (and her gossip girls rocks).

This arch was cool because it used to be a double arch, but the lower arch fell recently and you could see the HUGE pile of rocks it left!

Although the kids typically don't vote for hiking, they were great sports...didn't hear a single complaint :) they had lots of fun together!

Our our way back down we had races up the sand...Taylor won

then the adults had a race, I started in the lead and then Taylor passed me :) behind us Kimmy and thrown Kara to the ground and actually hurt her this time. We have it on video. It's pretty sweet...here's Zacky reenacting the throw with derek :)

We went to a yummy pizza place..there was a long wait, the kids danced with grandma, then we found a t-shirt shop and the kids chose shirts...zacky and derek got the same ones and Zacky didn't take his off the rest of the trip :) I found Jeff one that said, ' I went camping and burned my weiner'

The next day, we took off for a bike ride on a trail that 'you can take your hungover grandpa on'...so the tour book said. We ended up being gone 4 hours and had quite the adventure...

We took off with Bryan jogging (we were missing one bike) and sadly he walked the majority of the first mile because we kept having so many problems getting through the sand and hills....

Taylor's bike tire went flat in the first half mile and so Jeff 'jogged' with Bryan....

the boys took off to explore (they were supposed to do a quick look to see if we could all make it to the slick rock, but were gone forever....) so we waited ...we finally took off and made it to the flats...mostly pushing our bikes along on foot :)

We rested for a bit and ate all of Kelly's snacks....we weren't really prepared for a 7 mile trip ;)

Bryan showing us his jumping skills ;)

we finally reached the flats...daddy took the younger kids on a ride, while Kimmy, Kara and Taylor went to the top. They loved it and considering the LONG trip, never complained and had lots of fun!

Daddy built a trail rock with the kids...it later crashed:)

after our trip to the Moab Diner for dinner (we were all STARVING by then) and our favorite milkshakes (I spent the night and next day feircely nauseus!) we enjoyed the hotel wall heat ;)

pool time...

and boiling hot spa time :)

the kids watched cartoon and had suckers (so cute)...

while the adults searched on the computer for a hot man for mom, facebook laughed, Cosmo quizzed and played Rage (kelly's new game-mom kicked our butts!). Lots of fun and Kelly and Bryan didn't even get into a fight ;) We had so much fun that we decided to stay an extra night!

Next morning we played on the big dirt hill (Taylor said it was her favorite part of the trip). It was crazy steep and the kids loved sliding down. Dan even hiked up (and puked half way up!)

Dan helped the kids play with Zacky's truck...

and they had a blast jumping off the rock at the top (kelly, mom and I watched from the bottom...i was still sick ;(

Then, Taylor had her expected accident ;( (Noelle, on the way into Moab, mentioned to Kelly that she had spotted a hospital for Taylor in case she got hurt :) Surprise, surprise! She sliced her foot on a rock on the way down...it was pretty nasty. She said it hurt worse than her broken arm (I think she's much more freaked out by blood!). Lucky we had Kimmy, the rescue paramedic, on the scene! Poor thing!

Taylor was very brave and still hiked up delicate arch! I was so proud of all the kids on this trip...they were all troopers!

Zacky carried Austy most of the way up!

We made it up in 34 minutes! It really is a cool spot! Kelly's family stayed here (she was having a panic attack :) while we all ventured out to the rock...

Kimmy and Kara reenacted our last arch scene...no booing this time :( (only by Jeff :)

nerd...Jeff said that Bryan did make all the Chinese tourists laugh :)

Daddy and Zacky climbed even higher (I was a little scared!)

We found a new spot on the other side...the boys had fun yelling over the edge, waiting for the echo.

funny man...Kelly's glued to the cliff ;)

Taylor finally caught a ride...her foot was hurting :( It was such a beautiful evening and a gorgeous view!

We had a yummy mexican food dinner and then the daddy's and kids went camping at Slick Rock with Devin and Dan and Kimmy and Kara (Daddy almost froze with no sleeping bag...but Zacky had the time of his life with his lighter and the campfire!) while the mommy's stayed at the hotel with Taylor, Noelle and little ones. Had some good snuggling time with Taylor while we watched say yes to the dress :) The last morning we fit in one last little hike through a cool canyon with more balancing rocks...Here's Taylor showing her excitement for the idea of another hike :) She thought it was over at the first stop..poor her...we had just begun :) What a FUN Moab trip! Now it's back to chillier weather and school ;(
