Mother's Day

A few days after Mother's Day, Zacky flipped the go cart. Poor Hudson was in it with him. Zacky actually fell out when it rolled! We had a big ol talk and now he's alittle scared of it which I think is great! Daddy was flipping!
Daddy sent 12 dozen flowers! They were gorgeous :) He also got me new pool chairs. Happy Mother's Day to me :)

He ended up with some nasty cuts and bruises! I'm so glad it has roll bars!
Bryan made his famous 'Mother's Day' salad for me since he wasn't going to be home for actual Mother's Day. It was a gorgeous evening and the kids helped get everything ready for a yummy dinner on the patio. Then we played the train game and Taylor kicked our butts! Such a fun day together :)
Bryan and I played keep away from the kids...this is how it ended :)
We took Mom to China Lily for Mother's Day lunch after our scrapbook morning. I bashed the chocolate cake into the clear protector. Kara enjoyed it ;)
The kids quietly made Mother's Day breakfast for me while I slept in...waffles, eggs and toast and fruit salad. They even had the whole kitchen cleaned up too! On their own they bought me earrings, a heart necklace and candy. I have the best kids! Really!
The cute cards they made for me. I'm so lucky! :)
Bryan sent flowers and ordered me new lounge chairs. I'm so excited! We had dinner with mom and grandma Beebe and then had everyone over for games and dessert. Fun night

Taylor's soccer game in Logan

we drove 2 hours up to Logan for Taylor's 4th season game. We won 1-0 with Taylor's goal! She placed it beautifully in the top corner. It was a tough game but they were excited to win! After we (1st got lost) ate with the team at Junipers. The girls love each other and have fun getting to hang out! Taylor slept the entire way home in the car. We missed Zacky's last Slugfest tournament game. The poor Strike team can't seem to win a game and Tommy is ready to pull his hair out :) So wish Bryan was here to help! They play so much better for him. Zacky walked and had a great line drive to the outfield, so he was happy!

baseball week....

Taylor and I watched Zackys majors game from the car because it is freezing and windy! (and did her homework) Baseball season is in full force and every evening is packed with games or practices!
Taylor with her butt kicking trainer, Emil. We love him! She did great in her last game. She got 2 or the teams 3 goals to win 3-2. She is playing great and still loving this game!!!
Double header Saturday and rescheduled slugfest tourny games. We had 8 games this week! Crazy! Our team struggled at the tourny games and the parents struggled in the snow!!! SOOOOO cold! We got our butts whooped and looked terrible.....

Then Daddy made it back for the Saturday double header games (SO happy to have him home!!!) and things got MUCH better. Even though I get on his case for being a donkey coach, he really does a great job motivating the kids and making it fun and successful....he had a big talk with the kids about changing their habits and wanting to hit and threw in a $300 (for team jackets) incentive. They went crazy! They played great and should have won both games, but due to 1 inning in each game where we had some errors and pitching trouble, we lost. But it was a fun day! Taylor's game got snowed out, so she was sad (mostly because she had to sit at games all day :) She cheered for Zacky and got him treats and hugs (we had a good 'service week'...they've been struggling with being kind to each other, so we made some service goals each day and they were great! They thought of great things to do for each other (chores, kind letters, compliments) and really made me smile...and most of the time without me even reminding them! They are the best kids! I tell them all the time, that even though my luck in lines on earth is not so great (grocery store lines, traffic lights, etc), I must have stood in the right line in the pre-existence cause I got the best kids! So I'll deal with my bad luck here :)

EASTER week

we had a fun family dinner at Pizza Pie...and in preparation for Maturation day at school, we talked all about the good stuff! Zacky loves that ;)
I just wish we could convince Pop Pop to send Zacky some jerseys! :)
and socks!!!
The girls were so excited for their game...they wore their jackets to school.
after school play time with friends. Our house is the hangout. Now instead of little kids everywhere, I have a million teenagers!
basketball time means jersey time!

the girls dressed up to be silly and make fun of the boys 'dressing up' :)
In between baseball games and soccer games...Easter egg hunt at Jared and Beccas. Noelle was sick so Taylor decided not to hunt. She helped hide the kids eggs.... and it continued to rain....it's been on and off gross forever!!!! over it!
this is the basket Zacky picked this year...weird kid :)

Taylor held Rylie instead...much happier for her!
then off to baseball. Zacky did awesome at his super league double header. he lead the team in hits!
Then the kids decided they wanted to open their Easter gifts on Saturday night after all the games...Taylor got the jacket she wanted and
Zacky got a basketball holder :)

Easter morning before church...

"mooooommmmy!!! why did you eat all my grasshopper cookies!!" (as though this isn't known information!) Taylor got turtles and zacky got a chocolate bunny
and apple beer (gross!)
Daddy was out of town, so I had him do a treasure hunt for their last gifts.... it was hangman style and ended in big silver...
taylor got shopping money and zacky got an iphone (in a week when daddy gets home so we can do phone switching). Zacky has been begging for a phone for a year. Now that daddy is gone and I'm a single mom again, it has become a need for me....he has had a twitch waiting for that phone to arrive! He's been the most obedient child this week ;) What will I hang over his head now!? :)
We invited grandma beebe and grandma gayle over for chicken and mashed potatoes. Then we headed up to Kimmy's fire station for more Easter fun. We laughed and laughed at Shawn and ate cheesecake (Zacky's request for Grandma Gayle!). Kara was in Moab so we switched it up this year :) non traditional style seems to be the new theme!
And this is April???? Weather has been killing our sports schedules lately!
