Webelos Day Camp

My great idea for the year...do a 3 day 'camp' and don't have scouts again all summer!!! yay me! We went to the copper mines... did athlete while waiting for the copper mine to re open...had crazy in and out lunch....laughed while Melisa told me her car of boys wanted classical music while mine was boomin!....
Tiff got camp Jeremiah, so Melisa helped me with our camp :)

...movie at mine... these boys are wild, but we made it!
mean while..Taylor got an sinus infection that lasted forever, so before she took off for Girl's Camp, we went in for our 3 hour appointment!... poor thing, the first dose didn't take, so she was pretty miserable at camp, but LOVED it!
...we went on a hike....
then gave 12 boys long, pointy sticks to roast their lunch with (on my sad, wet wood fire!) We completed everything for the summer and are DONE!! yee haw!

Memorial Day

we got all the mulch laid (took 2 weekends and 6 loads!) and then a sprinkler pipe blew!

Grandma (and taylor & noelle) tricked everyone... they pushed grandma in to freak everyone out :) it worked, but too bad, grandma forgot to take her phone out of her pocket!
We had dinner (and mostly dessert) in the canyon... gorgeous evening!
kelly made lemon cake for grandma :)
mom brought old garfield and calvin n hobbs books for the kids. Zacky reads garfield every night!

then, on monday, we took a big family bike ride up to Bridal Veil. Had our usual flat tire troubles, but other than that it was a successful day (even with grandma gayle's silly trike with no gears!)
we picked up subway... zacky's favorite!
...stopped for lunch and shade :)
he stills loves the purple bike :) the kids did AWESOME on the ride. No complaining!

quite the group...dan even came without Kara.. and didn't even puke! ;)

Raging Rondo Jersey arrives!!!

When pop pop came to visit he ordered Rondo jersey's for Zacky (his favorite player at the moment:) He waited very impatiently for them to arrive.....

I think he wore them straight for 3 weeks! so happy :)

end of school!

the kids had their annual end of school swim party with Panda Express and lots of treats! They had a blast (even though addie and lauren couldn't come)!
last day of school....Taylor had SO much fun her last week of elementary school! kickball, 6th grade celebration and fun. She's SO excited to go to junior high (but sad to leave Brittany :(....... zacky had a baseball tournament and chose to skip the last day of school! I couldn't believe it since it would be his last day with Lauren (she's moving :(
...2 solid days in Provo..... he is the cutest! He didn't play very well and was sad, but had fun with all the after parties we do on game days :) Hopefully our last tourny with this dumb super league team!
Zacky plays basketball every chance he gets! and he LOVES when he can school daddy :) He came down and told me that his passion is basketball and he's never switching :) so funny!
end of school dance festival! So happy we're done with one kid!! :) Taylor was happy it was her last and Zacky was happy cause he got to square dance with lauren and addie! I wasn't happy cause on the way to school I spilled my smoothie all over myself!
Taylor 'graduation' that really had no graduation exercises!? Only awards for the service projects...and Taylor forgot to get hers signed so no certificate ;) but she and brittney and lily were great at the nursing home and had lots of fun. I was VERY impressed with them! (Chad Lewis spoke and did a GREAT job)
daddy was actually in town for this one!! yay!
