First thing in the morning, Taylor got her much wanted desk! I looked around and around for one, but ended up using my old desk that was in Kelly's basement....so it made it extra special (okay, so I told her one day she would think it was special!! :) Got the cutest handles for it :) 
She picked chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.
Mid day I was supposed to check Taylor out of school and take her and Brittney to lunch, but she decided that she'd rather stay at school and have lunch with all of her friends (she has quite a lunch group now :) I was surprised...she's obviously getting older :( Instead, we went and got Kimmy's wedding dress...it only took 2 hours of spinning around to commit :) She went with my favorite. She looks amazing in it!
Grandma Martin sent a fun Christmas quilt!
Zacky got her a fun sweater :) NOT a hoodie so who knows if she really likes it :)
When Taylor came home from school, we told her she had something special in her room from Pop-pop....
She almost fell over! Throughout the rest of the day, she'd randomly lean over to me and whisper, "I have a lap top!" I said to her, "do you know when I got my first lap top?....oh, wait, I never got one!" :) She knows pop-pop spoiled her and she's very appreciative! She immediately started doing a school assignment on it!
Next....her first surprise party! (months ago she mentioned how fun it would be to have a surprise party so I went with it!..it was a little tricky too...I knew she had made some new friends this year (many not in her class) and...many I had never met before and I struggled to get their contact info!) We went to Olive Garden (her favorite) for dinner. The wait was ridiculous and I ended up having to leave her with Bryan and Zacky when I got my food...I told Taylor some story about Kimberly needing help with her dress and left. I actually felt really bad because she seemed sad. I RAN home (Kara had to beat me there to meet the arriving guests) and we (8 friends from school, including Austin (her NOT boyfriend :) actually suprised her! It was so fun! Nobody told and she was really shocked! It was funny because she had asked if she could have a laser tag party and I said we'd talk about it for next week...she ended up going to school and telling many kids about the party, the phone calls started rolling in and I had a minor mess to clean up! So after the surprise, she said "I guess this means no laser tag party!" :)
We took some candy and borrowed Tiffany's theater for Surf's Up. The kids had a blast!! (weeks back, I had asked her what she wanted to do for her party, and she said she wanted to watch a movie with her friends....how perfect is this!)
Do you think this seating arrangement was by accident? :) They are so funny. I'm pretty sure that Austin was her best present! And Austin had a ball being the only boy DRENCHED in female attention!
He got her a necklace....which she hasn't taken off yet! 
We had ice cream sundaes and presents after the movie.....
They all just giggled the night away!
Then spa time...they could have stayed in there all night talking about who they liked and who so-and-so wants to kiss....oh boy!!
It turned out to be a great party! (Brianna, Malia, Brittney, Taylor, Brooke, Austin, Noelle, Kourtney, MacKenzie and Zacky)
