Week 2 of December-kimmy gets engaged!

The elf sent us to Thanksgiving Point to drive through the lights. The big house with the dancing lights is not up and running this year, so the elf said to try this instead...the kids were not impressed because the light weren't dancing! After, we stopped to see the reindeer and get ice cream in the shop.


On the way home, we saw 'dancing' lights in a neighbor so the kids wanted to stop there....not quite as grand as the big house, but the kids liked them! We could have saved ourselves the thanksgiving point stop :)

Grandma Drexie said Taylor could open her b-day gifts whenever she wanted....so she opened the build-a-bear cake set...the kids had a great time! Our first bear did not work out too well, but it was definitely fun. Taylor is still our little cake baker, so any baking is fun for her!
They learned all about fondant....the clothes for the bear :) Grandma Drexie always finds the cutest gifts!
Well it FINALLY happened!!! Kimmy's engaged! She brought Kelly and I over to tell, then later we brought all the kids over to see...they were SO excited...a little too much screaming happened...Kimmy waved it around for a little while (we told the kids that Kimmy had something for them) and they finally noticed!
Zacky was super excited! He said "Uncle Devin!!!"
Kimmy and Kara reenact Kara's original reaction. Devin proposed while they decorated a tree that he had brought over. Later, when Kara came home, Kimberly tried to wave the ring around a little, but Kara didn't notice. So while Kara scooped out some ice cream, Kimmy grabbed the spoon and Kara freaked because she thought Kimmy was going to take all of the cookie chunks! :)
We had an ice cream party together to celebrate the engagement :)
Kara gave Taylor a Volcom T-shirt for her b-day. Can you tell she's excited! She wants clothes just like Kara's :)
Bryan sat and ate his Taco Amigo while we celebrated. He's such a party go-er!

They kids are SO excited! It's about time :) Mom is starting to get very sad at the thought of Kimmy being gone....I still want to know where they're going :)
