camping ;)

we were happy to have Daddy home all week :)
the kids had a blast swimming w daddy and destroying the boats!





even though he hates practicing, zacky has been doing great with his guitar! he watches the dvds and then I help him with the book :)
daddy jumped in to zacky and hudson's nerf gun war :)
we had planned for a couple of weeks to go camping (zacky's one big wish for summer :) and when the day finally came, we had terrible weather! we decided to anyway, but all the camp sites were taken (what other crazy people would camp in this weather-thought we were the only ones!). So after an hour and a half of driving in the rain to the top of silver lake in search of a spot, we gave up and decided to 'camp' at Kara and kimmy's house....
Zacky was excited and Taylor was NOT! She doesn't like camping, especially in the rain ;)
we didn't find a spot but we had a beautiful drive-Zacky liked that we drove so high that we were above the clouds :)
we ate our chili at kimmy's...
and roasted our marshmellows :)

and Kara gave Zacky a massage...he was in pain :)
after we played murder in the dark, the night headed to truth or dare. Dan dared me to take a bite of the sausage. I hate him. I almost puked just smelling it but I bit, spit it out and screamed! Then we ended up running around a store doing dares and dan kept leaving poor kara in the aisles next to strangers. It was a hilarious night! Then there was a crazy game of tag with sleeping bags. Zacky was the craziest! Fun night :)
