After much begging and pleading (and Kara reminding me that I highlighted her hair when she was 12), I gave in and let her have a few foils for the first day of Junior High! She was so thrilled! It was a big day...highlights, waxed brows, PT w Stacey for her soccer injured knee (she was NOT happy), and CONTACTS! She is a new woman! She was dying for contacts and couldn't stop thanking me after she got them in. She spent the entire drive home commenting on everything she could see (I reminded her she does have glasses ;) And you would never guess that she hadn't worn them before. She's a pro!Fun day
1st day of Junior High in her new boots, SF H&M score and yellow bag (her favorite!). She was SOOOO excited! She woke up on her own at 6:15 to be ready by 7:40. Wow, what has happened to my little tom boy ;) She looked darling and even Austin said she was the cutest one at school (and he mentioned that another boy winked at her in the hall :) She LOVES school, her math teacher, having a locker, lunch w Austin, and even riding the bus to school. The only thing she is not happy with is having to play the violin ;)
can't believe this day is here!
Taylor had 7th grade 1st day of school and Zacky had last day of summer...he and Hudson played nerf gun wars all day in the family room :) He keeps asking for an air soft gun, but nerf is what he gets!
On way to bus...
Zacky's first day of school...he wanted eggs for breakfast and was so excited to wear his new shirt and new shoes! He could have really cared less either way that is was the first day back :) He made it to the bus at 7:25 (we're on 1st track now...kill me!-and no one can sleep after our SF bedtimes!) He's happy he got a man teacher (Mr. Wells) and that he sits by Alec in class. The only thing he cares about is that Lauren is gone :(
